Using an anxiety herbal remedy is an option that you may wish to consider if you find yourself prone to having panic attacks. It is a good alternative to using prescription or OTC drugs to help calm your nerves.

Valerian comprises of the following substances: alkaloids, volatile oils (including borneol and isovalerianic), and inridoids. Thus, making it suitable as an expectorant, tranquilizer, diuretic, lowering blood pressure, antispasmodic, carminative, and as a mild anodyne.
