Ayurvedic natural remedies have been used for several thousands of years to treat all kinds of conditions including hair loss, by the Indians.  Many of these traditional secrets are not documented but are only known through word of mouth.

Here are two Ayurvedic natural remedies to stop hair loss that you can try:
Option 1: Use sesame oil for a hair scalp massage for 10-15 minutes.  Rinse off and shampoo if dFenugreek seeds pictureesired. You can find sesame oil in many supermarkets. 

Option 2: Mix half a teaspoon of fenugreek powder with three-fourths cup of unsweetened coconut milk. Apply the paste onto the scalp of your head and massage gently.   In India, fenugreek seeds are mixed with yogurt and used as a conditioner for hair.  Fenugreek powder is available from the spice section of your local supermarket.


Here are some common Ayurvedic herbal remedies that are very beneficial for health:

1. Ashwagandha is a herb that is found in

India.  It works well in boosting the immune system and healing wounds.  Studies have shown that this is one of the many herbal remedies that does work well in this manner.  It also works well as an antioxidant.  In this capacity it will reduce your likelihood of developing cancer or heart disease. 

India has also done studies that show that Ashwagandha can also significantly reduce high blood cholesterol levels whenever it is taken as a supplement.
 

2. Gotu Kola is more commonly known as Asiatic Pennywort.  It can be made into a cream that is a great aid in healing wounds.  This herb is also able to help with circulation and revitalize nerves and brain cells. 

3. Guggul is an herb that has been scientifically proven to reduce a person’s cholesterol by 12%.   

4. Boswellia is known or its anti-inflammatory effects and it is popularly used in Ayurvedic Medicine.  This herb is mainly used in the Indian subcontinent. 

5. Asafoetida has a very strong odor and thus it is also known as Devil’s Dung or Stinking Gum.  Many people use to think that this smell is what would ward off illness.  Most commonly this herb is used as a digestive aid since it is believed to lessen flatulence.
