Jasmine Herbal RemedyJasmine can be used not only to fragrance your room or yourself. It can also be used as a herbal home remedy. In fact, jasmine is used widely as a traditional remedy in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Indian Ayurvedic Medicine.  Its main properties make it suitable as  it as a relaxant for your nerves, an astringent, a sedative, an aphrodisiac, to increase milk flow, and as an analgesic.

You can make an infusion of jasmine tea for treating fevers, infections, and urinary inflammation.  If you need to relax and calm your nerves due to stress, you can also mix jasmine flowers  with skullcap or lemon balm to make a calming tea.  With antiseptic properties, Jasmine tea flowers can also be used to help treat cuts and scrapes.  You can also treat heat stroke, anxiety, and headaches with a jasmine flower compress.  For an aromatic massage oil, simply mix almond and jasmine oil in a blend.
